Mehrdad is a Chartered Engineer in both structural and civil disciplines, with over 15 years’ experience across infrastructure, buildings, and coastal environments. He is an Accredited Expert with the Academy of Experts and regularly acts as an expert witness in complex construction and engineering disputes.

Mehrdad holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Greenwich, specialising in coastal and flood defences, and an MSc in Advanced Engineering Design from Brunel University London. His technical background is supported by robust site experience and academic research, allowing him to deliver innovative, risk-informed, and value-engineered solutions across sectors.

He is particularly recognised for his work in the NHS and healthcare sector, where he has led structural and civil design on sensitive hospital infrastructure upgrades and new-build bunker and CT/MRI schemes. Mehrdad is also a leading figure in flood risk management and coastal defence, with extensive experience in designing and reviewing strategic flood mitigation solutions under CIWEM-aligned standards.

His dual expertise in both drainage/civil infrastructure and structural engineering enables a holistic design approach—optimising cost, buildability, and performance. Mehrdad remains committed to sustainable, reliable engineering that balances innovation with technical compliance and long-term value.
